Many apps have their own download settings. Case in point: WhatsApp by default downloads images and videos to your phone and keeps them in its own folder. You may be able to change where files are downloaded by default to keep everything more organized on your device. There are a variety of Android file managers to use. However, a highly popular and useful option is X-plore File Manager. The dual-pane feature makes it a personal favorite.
The menu on the right includes a Find feature. I also love that search tips are included in the search box. Enter part of your file name and locate your file in seconds. The notification looks like a checkmark.
This is an easy way to see where your downloads are stored by default. Connect your Android device to your computer with a USB cable, and within a few seconds, you should see a prompt appear offering to show you the contents of the device you connected. Click on the one that allows you to see the contents of your Android device.
Click on the Phone option and scroll down until you find the Downloads folder. If you have set files to download to SD card, for example, and you are looking for the downloaded files then you should find them under SD card instead of Internal storage. If you know the name or part of the name of the file, you can search for it by using the searching function. Step 2 Tap on the search icon at the top right of the interface and type into the file name.
Step 3 Go to Downloads , and a list of files will show up you've downloaded from the Chrome. The selected methods above are not working? Maybe your downloads have been an accident and deleted and you are not aware that.
Step 1 Launch the program on your computer and select Android Data Recovery on the main interface to proceed. Next, connect your Samsung mobile to the computer via USB cable. Tap on Transfer Files on your phone, then the link can be connected. As the following picture shows. You can create a folder on your computer to save the transferred files. If you want to copy files from computer to Samsung phone, you can select the files, copy them and paste to the Camera folder or other folder where your media files are in on your Samsung phone.
You can also transfer files from Samsung to computer, and vice versa, using one click, without the complicated operations like above. Here this Coolmuster Samsung Data Manager is exactly one of the best assistant programs to help share files between Samsung smart phone and PC. With it, you are able to view all files on your Samsung phone and computer before exporting.
Thus you can transfer them selectively. As you know, contacts and text messages are generally forbidden to be accessed to computer. While, by running this software, the entire contacts and messages on your Samsung cell phone can be copied to PC with one click.
In fact, this Samsung File Transfer program could be very functional, just download the free trial version to have a try. Where do you go for that? I also read that you need to set permissions on Chrome to allow storage, but it was already enabled. I also checked this on the gallery app and it was ALSO enabled. The other solution listed above this one did not work for me. Thanks for taking the time to figure this out. The problem is Google.
For some reason when you use the search and download from it, it acts like it downloads and goes nowhere. But simple solution!!
Just use your regular internet browser!
